Event Crew
(Sound Engineer) 

Job Description:

​

The Event Crew (Sound Engineer) is a vital member of our event management team, responsible for providing professional sound engineering services to clients at a wide range of events. The Sound Engineer will work closely with the Event Manager to plan, set up, and operate the sound system, ensuring that it is of the highest quality and meets the needs of the client.

​

Key Responsibilities:

​

  • Work with the Event Manager to plan and set up the sound system for events, ensuring that it meets the needs of the client

  • Operate the sound system during events, making adjustments as necessary to ensure that the sound quality is of the highest standard

  • Troubleshoot and solve any technical problems that may arise during the event

  • Communicate with the event manager, performers, and other crew members to ensure that the sound system is functioning as it should

  • Keep the sound system and equipment in good working order by performing regular maintenance and cleaning

  • Set up and test the equipment in advance of the event to ensure it is in good working order

Qualifications:

​

  • Proven experience as a sound engineer, or a related field

  • Strong technical knowledge of sound systems and equipment

  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems

  • Good organizational and planning skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

They are a key member of the event management team and will work closely with the event manager, performers, and other crew members to ensure that the event runs smoothly and that the sound quality is of the highest standard.
